Episode summaries[]
Episode 1: "A Force To Be Reckoned With"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Pass The Torch – Players had to pass a torch to their fellow tribemates, and the first tribe to have passed the torch around the whole tribe and successfully light it on the fire win.
The game began with sixteen people jumping off a boat and into the Indian Ocean, swimming there way to the shores of Gulhi. Before they reached their camps, alliances had been formed. Both tribes believed they were the better tribe, although felt the two tribes were of even strength and that it would be a close call between Banyan and Keredu. In Banyan, AJ felt that Em was a large threat, feeling that he would make himself look weak, play an idol and go on to, eventually, be crowned Sole Survivor. AJ, however, decided to play the game to win and attempt to have all the numbers with him. Several Keredu tribemates were worried about Michael, feeling he has a large impact on the game and is very arrogant. Josh felt that Missy was going to be playing a dirty game and that he didn't want her here. Alliances in Keredu formed incredibly early on. Tommy aligned himself with Brendon, Christian, Josh and Missy, and made a fake final three deal with Josh and Christian. He played the role of camp leader, assuring that everyone would turn up for the looming first Immunity Challenge. The alliance of five were secure on getting Michael out as soon as possible. Dan from Banyan, and Brendon from Keredu, set their eyes on grabbing the Hidden Immunity Idol from the start of the game. Back in Banyan, Em was feeling insecure about Dan, who began scurrying for allies and recruited him to the "Strongest 4 Alliance". He played a floater role, keeping all his options open, and kept a good eye on his weary enemy, Dan. Missy, playing the manipulator of Keredu, made sure that everyone in Keredu was on her side. Not wanting to vote out one of her allies, her eyes became set on winning 'Pass The Torch'. In the challenge, Keredu became annoyed with Michael for his failure in the challenge. However, Keredu pulled off a mighty win and Banyan were sent to Tribal, with their evil eyes on Ty for forgetting to pass the torch to the next player. After the challenge was over, Banyan confronted Ty, who pleaded his innocence. The "Strongest 4 Alliance", consisting of Andrea, Dan, Em and Joe, were all set on getting Ty out, labelling him useless. Joe mentioned there were six solid votes for Ty, thus being a majority vote. Ty was eventually voted out in a unanimous 8-0 vote, one being a self vote.

Episode 2: "All Allies And All Enemies"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Turf Wars – There were eight territories. The players had to claim these territories for their tribe in order to gain a certain amount of points. The eight territories closed one by one at random intervals. The tribe with the most points when all eight territories have closed, win immunity.
Dan took Banyan's failure on the chin, feeling confident that Keredu will not defeat them. His alliance with Andrea, Em and Joe seemed to be united and strong, however Dan noted he'd betray the group in order to win the game if they got in his way. Before the second Immunity Challenge, Missy felt as if she was in all the scenarios where she could go, such as winning, throwing the challenge, or throwing all of her allies into sudden paranoia. She planned on voting out Michael, being the only one not alligned with her, feeling as if he could realize she was playing everyone, costing her the game. Dan and Joe won the challenge alone for Banyan. Dan strongly agreed with himself that he has already won. Keredu were sent to Tribal Council for their first time with the plan to drive out Michael, with the rumor going around tribe that he cannot be trusted. Christian rode the tail of Josh and Missy, stating that he had no strategy and not knowing where he placed with his allies. At Tribal Council, Keredu found the vote to be an easy one as Michael was sent home by a vote of 7-1, with Michael being the only one to vote for Ranz. The tribe weren't shocked at all with the results, feeling that Michael should have tried harder.

Episode 3: "Change The Currents"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Matchmaker – The tribes had to work together to find tiles that matched each other on a life-size board. The first tribe to match four pairs won immunity.
With the tribe numbers now even again, the battle continued. Em continued to play all sides of Banyan, deciding to ride the tail of everybody else until he feels it's the right moment for him to take over and be in control. Late on Day 2, Tommy searched through the sheets for the idol and indeed found it lying between the sheets hanging over a branch. He decided to keep a hold of it and not rush into using it. In the Immunity Challenge, the two tribes were at war with each other. After a lot of confrontation and arguments, it became very close between Banyan and Keredu, however Keredu gained the final point and therefore won immunity for the second time this season. At Tribal Council, the mood suddenly changed in the Banyan tribe. Feeling like they are no match to Keredu, they decided to pick off the threats rather than the weak links, with no fear of going to Tribal Council for the rest of the season. Banyan were pretty much set on voting out AJ, shockingly. With the outsiders of the tribe picking up on Joe's plans, they decided to vote with him in order not to look like the weak links and remain with the pack. AJ was ultimately voted out in a 6-1 vote, but he did not leave quietly.

Episode 4: "Powerhouse Competitors"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Slide To Victory – There were three puzzles. Three members of each tribe had to step forward and complete a puzzle. At the end of the challenge, the total times were calculated and the tribe with the least time overall did not go to Tribal Council.
The contestants began to feel the heat of the Survivor game after three days in camp. Em explained the low tribe morale after Alan cost the tribe with his rough score in the challenge. With Aimee breaking down after the Immunity competition, people began to get annoyed at her miserable behavior, going off alone and searching for the idol. At this point in the game, nobody could trust her. On the other hand, in Keredu, Missy was feeling confident and the tribe was happy with the outcome of the challenge. She felt safe in having a core alliance with everybody on her tribe except the less stronger players: Ranz and Maks, however she had a sole final two deal with Ranz, with plans on working together to the merge and finding the idol after learning from her tribe that Ranz was the new target. They both fought hard for the idol, not knowing that Tommy already has Keredu's only idol in his hands. Similarly in Banyan, Andrea was working on having the whole tribe in her favor. She gathered sheep to follow her orders and decided to let her 'sheep' do all the dirty work. At Tribal Council, Banyan began to get heated. Em had doubts that anyone had the idol, and Andrea was worked up that her efforts in the challenge poured down to nothing but another night at Tribal. Aimee was the sole target for being voted out that night. She feared her exit and did not want to look like a floater, despite not having a strong alliance. With Alan also worried about being a target, and Andrea at a possible risk, there was no way of predicting who was on the outs. The votes were read and Banyan once again joined forces in the desperateness of being spared in upcoming Tribals. Aimee's torch was snuffed with a unanimous vote against her, with her being the only one to vote for Andrea, thus shocking her. Andrea left Tribal feeling smug that her 'sheep' had done what she asked.

Episode 5: "My Tribe Sucks"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Equaliser – The two tribes competed directly against each other in a speed challenge. They were asked simple Survivor trivia and the first tribe to answer correctly won a point for their team, deducting a point from the other team.
After the elimination of Aimee, Em congratulated himself on getting his plan to work. He was worried that the constant unanimous vote-offs will cause the alliance of Andrea, Dan, Em and Joe to eventually have to turn on each other. The alliance were still in tact however the group began to seperate and hinted towards turning on each other. After a long challenge, Keredu striked again and Banyan headed to Tribal Council for the third consecutive night. Before Tribal Council, the 'once united' tribe was no more. Andrea began attempting to sway Joe towards voting with both her and Alan in voting out Em. However, Dan and Em wanted Alan out. Joe, who was in another alliance with Alan, decided to flip. He dropped Em and voted against him at Tribal Council along with Alan and Andrea causing Dan and Em to be outsiders. With the alliance having turned against Em, Alan felt safe. However, he was still unsure about how this Tribal was going to go. The turn-out of the Tribal left Em walking out of camp speechless. Alan attempted to pick up his game knowing that he will be the one to go next if he isn't careful.

Episode 6: "I Trust My Allies"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Sled Run – Contestants had to pull boxes on a sled which contained a letter to a quote - The first tribe to figure out the quote along with who said it won the final Immunity challenge. (Forfeited by Keredu)
With the merge looming, and Banyan now in the minority, tensions in the camps rose. Deals were being made across the two tribes with the castaways attempting to assure themselves safety post-merge. At the challenge, Keredu took the decision to forfeit the challenge causing Banyan's losing streak to end at three consecutive loses. Keredu packed their bags and headed to Tribal, with the vote being unpredictable. At Tribal, the group mentioned that they are all their own chiefs, working for themselves but coming together as a team at challenges. All contestants were feeling unsafe about who was going home and scrambled to find out who was voting who out, in order to vote with the majority and not look like an outsider. When there eyes were cast to the merge, Missy mentioned that that Banyan would eventually be finished by Keredu, going on to explain that the loyalty in the tribe is hard to break. She also mentioned that for some it would be hard to vote another Keredu member out, but for others she said it is a game, and you need loyalty or you will be pagonged along with Banyan. Once Missy found out that Ranz, her final two ally, was a target for Tribal Council, she went to work into making Keredu turn towards someone else, Maks being this victim. For the first time, the vote was a three-way-split. With an almost-unanimous decision to vote out Maks, Brendon, an outsider on the tribe, voted Missy. This lead to Josh not being able to trust Brendon, making Brendon a target at merge. Overall, Missy's plan to sway her tribemates towards voting out Maks worked, and Banyan and Keredu awaited their fate.

Episode 7: "They're Just My Dolls"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Raise The Flag – The newly merged tribe were paired up to create a flag for 'Manta', which had to include elements such as the tribe name, color, logo and contestants. The submissions were judged by eight tengagers and the flag with the most points won.
As expected by the contestants, the tribes merged. Thomas, Joe and Missy began to socialize with their new tribemates in camp. Thomas at this moment still held the Hidden Immunity Idol, though none of his castaways had suspected him yet. Dan was on the outside of Manta and a severe target for Tribal Council, along with one of his closest allies, Joe. He explained that he was able to control Banyan and bring the tribe together. Missy originally planned to team up with Banyan at the first Tribal Council and blindside Brendon. This gave Joe the ultimate power to turn Keredu against Missy, meaning one-less for Keredu and a closer margin between the two tribes. When Joe exposed her plans, Missy acted fast saying she would most likely vote for Ranz at Tribal Council. Feeling uneasy, Missy worded with Keredu about Joe and him being a potential threat, as did Joe with his tribemates about Missy. This caused a split vote between Missy and Joe, and whether Banyan and Keredu wanted to stay loyal to them, any one of them could be going home. Missy, however, felt secure that Joe was in a position where he'd be going home along with the rest of Banyan, allowing Missy to team up with Christian, Ranz and Thomas, and make individual deals with them all to ensure her safety. Alan and Christian broke through in the Individual Immunity Challenge after a twist meant that the castaways competed in duos and won the competition in duos. Alan waved his Immunity Necklace in his tribemates' faces, to their annoyance. Things began to heat up at Tribal Council when Joe made Keredu realize that Missy was lying to all of them, to which she admitted after being pressurized by Joe. With Missy explaining that she was just playing the game, Ranz, Missy's apparent close friend, voted out Missy in bitterness of her breakout. This fluctuated a tie between Joe and Missy. In the tie, Andrea went against Joe and voted him out unlike the rest of her alliance members Alan and Dan, who kept to the promise of saving Joe. Brendon and Josh also kept there promises to Missy and voted out Joe, putting Joe in the lead with the votes. Christian and Thomas had no idea which way to vote, but basing their vote on the drama at Tribal Council, they played safe and voted out Missy. With Ranz not voting, the vote was 4-3, and Missy was voted out to her annoyance. With the contestants still in the game unaware, Missy moved into Ponderosa as a 'surprise' juror.
- Title quotation by: Dan
Episode 8: "Matter Of Seconds"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Dodge The Bullet – Each person had the chance of being the "gunman". On signal, the contestants had to successfully jump before the gunman fired. Everyone who jumped before the gun was fired won a point. If the gunman fired before anyone jumped, he/she won the point. The one with the most points at the end of the challenge won immunity.
The nine remaining castaways stood in shock as Missy left the game with a fireless torch. Brendon fell into the outs with only Immunity to help him. Curiosity also spread through Manta after several contestants flipped either side. Brendon was desperate to know who on Keredu flipped in favor of sending his ally Missy home. Brendon decided that in order to keep himself safe he'd spread lies over camp. He didn't trust Christian, so he decided to tell him that he had an idol to hopefully stop Christian from potentially voting him out at Tribal Council. He also attempted to turn Banyan against each other by telling Joe that Dan said he was after him. With Joe feeling confident now he's survived the chopping block once, Christian, Josh and Thomas realized that they needed him out soon. Thomas decided to lure Joe over their side for this vote and get out Dan, so they could fully get his trust before voting him out. However, Joe wanted to go forth and vote against Ranz. Thomas told Joe that his alliance will vote with him and also vote for Ranz, however he lied so Joe would look bad at Tribal Council. At the Individual Immunity competition, Alan and Brendon both stated allowed that they were in danger at Tribal Council. Brendon played the challenge with great courage and eventually won himself the Immunity Necklace and safety at the upcoming Tribal Council. At Tribal Council, Joe was shocked as there were only three votes for Ranz, him, Dan and Alan. Andrea stuck with the original Keredu in voting Alan. By a 6-3 vote, Alan was voted out.
- Title quotation by: Brendon
Episode 9: "I Don't Follow Your Commands!"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Checkmate – Contestants had to move across a Chess board moving like a knight in an L shape. Each time they moved off a square the square they moved from is removed from the board completely and cannot be used for the remainder of the game. The last one standing won immunity.
After Alan was voted off, Dan figured out that someone had flipped to the other side. Joe was angry that he had been outplayed by Thomas who hit back at Joe in saying that he was going next. Andrea revealed allowed that she had floated her way to the Jury and now was her time to start playing big. At the third Individual Immunity challenge, the contestants were eliminated one by one until it amounted to just Josh and Thomas, and Thomas ended up overpowering Josh and winning himself the Immunity Necklace. He felt comfortable in the game with his number one ally Christian, but figured he still had to play for himself. People began to question his relationship with Joe, after he posted the mail reading the conversation between the two about game. Thomas knew he couldn't get wrapped up in his friendship with Joe feeling he had to do whatever it took to get to the end, with the idol also helping him. At Tribal Council, Ranz was feeling particularly nervous after receiving three votes during the last elimination, and did all he could do to try and get those who voted for him off the island. Joe, when asked if he could stop his elimination from happening, replied simply by saying that he couldn't of done anything to stop this from happening and was sure he was going home. However, when the votes were read, Andrea was voted out in a blindsiding 7-1 vote, with only Andrea voting Joe.
- Title quotation by: Andrea
Episode 10: "I'm Not Holding Any Grudges"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Scramblicious – The contestants had to successfully unscramble seven words which relate to the Maldive islands the quickest in order to bag themselves immunity.
Joe, in particular, was pleased with the news that Andrea was blindsided, stating that 'his plan worked', which angered Thomas slightly, feeling as if Joe was taking all the credit in getting the entirity of the cast to vote in his favor. The next day, the cast competed in their fourth Individual Immunity challenge. A determined Joe fought hard in the competition, ending up winning himself the Immunity Necklace with the power of safety for another day. Things were very relaxed when the group headed to Tribal Council. Dan, however, felt paranoid due to Joe winning immunity, and him being the only eligible Banyan member to be voted out. He felt so wrapped up in getting voted out that he refused to vote, and was voted out in a unanimous 7-0 vote.
- Title quotation by: Thomas
Episode 11: "Positives And Negatives"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Survivor Blackjack – The players were given 200 coins and faced five stations. They had to bet on which station contained the idol. If they bet correctly on which station the idol was hiding they would double their coins. Failure meant losing the amount of coins they bet.
Before the fifth Individual Immunity challenge, Joe explained that the original Banyan members would be voting for either Christian or Thomas to win, signalling to Brendon, Josh and Ranz to keep him in order to help them win over Christian and Thomas, and told them that if they kept him around he'd promise one of them his vote. Joe did not attend the Immunity challenge causing there to be more of a chance of him getting eliminated by the group. At Tribal Council, Joe told the group that he was extremely beneficial to keep around. He explained allowed that he'd be voting for Christian in an attempt to sway other tribemates to vote for him. He went on to say that both Christian and Thomas were strong allies and would be impossible to break up if they went any further. He began to scramble for people to vote with him, going as far as posting a fake mail sent by Thomas telling him to vote for Josh. Ranz listened to Joe and voted against Christian with him. He tried to get both Brendon and Josh to flip with him but both went ahead with voting out Joe. He believed that they were alligned with Christian and Thomas, who were running the game, and this caused Ranz to increase concentration on attempting to find the idol with just one more Tribal Council to use the power. A last minute change of votes took place when Brendon wanted to cause tension and cast a self vote against himself. When the votes were read out, the contestants were shocked by the three-way-split in the votes between Joe, Christian and Brendon, more shocked by a second vote cast against Christian, which was Ranz's vote. In the end, a 3-2-1 vote sent Joe home.

Episode 12: "A Hard Situation"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Survivor Trends – The most trended player in a blog in the 24-hour time limit won immunity and a guarenteed place in the Finale.
Brendon began to believe that Josh and Christian were sheeping around Thomas and decided to make Thomas his prime enemy. He was happy he was able to read Thomas' mind and get his 'biggest ally' Joe out the game. He prepared to win the next two Immunity challenges and eventually win the game. At the Immunity challenge, Brendon tried his best to make sure he wasn't in danger of going home, along with Ranz, but Ranz was having no luck. Meanwhile, Thomas planned to use the idol, this being his last chance before the chance expires. Although it was close between Brendon and Christian in the immunity challenge, Brendon beat Christian by 5 points and won himself the immunity necklace, and an automatic place in the finale episode. Everyone, especially Ranz, were annoyed at his win as the other four tribemates had originally planned to vote him off unanimously. Ranz was told by Thomas that he wanted Josh out, but Brendon also mentioned he wanted Christian out. Thomas' idol was spreading around camp when Brendon told Ranz, then Ranz mentioned it to Christian to re-discuss their plan. A lost Josh went on to vote for Thomas for unknown reasons, with this vote not being counted, whilst Christian kept with his closest ally Thomas in voting for Ranz ignoring Thomas' original decision to vote out Josh, believing Josh would be more useful to them than Ranz. Brendon and Ranz stuck together and voted Christian causing the vote to be a tie. In the revote, Josh and Thomas united and decided to vote together, meaning it would be 2-1 for whoever they decide to vote out. Brendon voted Christian, however Josh and Thomas wanted to save their ally and voted Ranz, knocking him out of the game with 5th place.

Episode 13: "Chop The Head Of The Snake"[]
- Immunity Challenge: Log Jam - The person to survive the longest on their logs by posting a phrase in a 5-minute or under time limit all throughout the night, won the final immunity competition.
The finale began with the Final 4, Brendon, Christian, Josh and Thomas, competing in the 7th Individual Immunity challenge, unknown to them that this is the final challenge they will be competing in. In the challenge, which was all about Endurance, The group stuck at it for a good few hours, however Christian and Josh dropped out after a few hours, leaving Brendon and Thomas to battle it out. However, when the log began to rotate, Brendon decided to distract Thomas and he ended up falling off, causing Brendon to win immunity for the second and final time, securing himself a place in the final three and immunity from the final vote-off. Josh realized that with only the three allies, him, Christian and Thomas, he was in danger of going home if he didn't vote the same as Brendon. He did in fact vote with Brendon and voted Thomas, and Christian and Thomas, unwilling to backdoor one another, voted Josh. This sparked the third tie of the season, and Josh and Thomas competed in a tiebreaker challenge. The tiebreaker challenge was forfeited by Josh, who ultimately became the final juror despite coming so close, and Brendon, Christian and Thomas were hit with the news that they are now in the final three. The jurors were brought in and the final Tribal Council erupted.
The jury voting didn't go as expected. Although Joe promised Banyan will all vote the same, Alan & Dan voted Thomas, Andrea voted Christian, and Joe voted Brendon. Missy also voted Christian, and Ranz voted Brendon, meaning all three finalists were tied, and Josh was the deciding vote. He ultimately voted Thomas, and Thomas was crowned the winner by a 3-2-2 vote.
